As a child, I was always encouraged to read – just about anything and everything. I chose magazines because the pictures spoke to me. They told a story but also allowed me to interpret my own story. This was the beginning of my affair with photography. It started with dreams of one day being the subject of a picture and matured – as I did – to dreams of capturing those pictures. How fortunate would I be if I could one day tell a story with my photos?

This instinctual passion for communicating through the medium of photography drives me to capture not only a moment in time, but more importantly the story behind that moment. I consider it an honor and a blessing to be part of profession that can document the journey of life. My life. Your life. Every life.

Not too long ago, I was asked what kind of photographer I was. Interesting question if you think about it because so many people think, well, a photographer is a photographer, right? That might be like saying a doctor is a doctor – no real difference. The general interest is definitely the same, but the expertise is most certainly different. My specialty is in the field of sports, special occasions and those candid moments that maybe no one else saw. In general, I love capturing those unposed moments in life that deserve to be remembered and relived.

I bring to my profession, the same philosophy that guides me as a person…treat people how you want to be treated. Be honest, truthful and fair. My goal is to provide my clients with compelling, story-rich images that not only exceed expectation, but also put a smile on their face.

As you peruse my gallery, I hope you enjoy the journey the images will take you on and I look forward to the possibility of telling your story – in pictures.
